Zeus Oil & Gas (formally Hercules Group) were selected to install two Taylor Dynamometers. The works involved the layout, fabrication of pipe work, installation and commissioning.
The dynamometers – 4000 HP and 8000 HP and associated equipment was manufactured in Milwaukie USA specifically for Westrac for the testing of Caterpillar engines.
We fabricated all pipe work in stainless steel, including, fuel, coolant, cooling water turbo-air intake, compressed air and exhaust gases. Pipe sizes ranged from 2” to 16”.
Equipment was installed and levelled using laser equipment to the manufacturers specifications.
Commissioning was undertaken on time to both the satisfaction of the client and the equipment supplier.
